Written in the key of F, this playful, yet bold duet features a western-style melody that switches back and forth between the primo and secondo parts. The use of dynamics, open fifths, accents and varied articulation may have students conjure up images of horses galloping across an open, prairie-land. Your students will be delighted with the "big sound" of this piece.
