About the Recital Hall
The Graves Recital Hall seats 220 people with a small stage and features four 9-foot concert grand pianos. For decades, we have enjoyed welcoming students of all ages and stages of their piano journeys to experience the joy and prestige of a concert grand piano. In addition, as the exclusive dealer of Steinway & Sons, our Hall boasts two Steinway Model D Concert Grand pianos.
In addition, the Recital Hall is a beautiful space for performers of many instruments. Vocalists and other instrumentalists enjoy the opportunity to be onstage in a true concert setting. Whether you are recording for your next audition or hosting a recital, we look forward to welcoming you!
How to book the Recital Hall
Please submit your request by e-mail to daniel@gravespianos.com and include the information noted below. Requests are handled in the order in which they are received. At the time of your reservation, we will work with you to complete a Recital Hall Agreement and collect a 50% non-refundable deposit due at the time of reservation.
Please have the following details ready to confirm: Reservation Type; Date, Time, & Duration of event (including set up/tear down time); Expected/Estimated guest count; any special requests for consideration.

*Complimentary Recital Hall use is available to STEP member teachers Sunday – Thursday based on availability and will include brief welcome comments from a member of the Graves team. Please allow for this at the beginning of your recital.
Important Guidelines and Planning for Your Event
The Recital Hall operates during Graves business hours, where customers will be actively shopping for and playing pianos (unless you are reserving private/after hours sessions). While we make every effort to be mindful of recitals, recordings, and other performances in the Recital Hall, we are not able to guarantee a sound free environment. At the time of your reservation, we will provide detailed procedures to ensure that you and your guests are aware of Recital Hall rules and expectations.
