Paul Graves started Graves Piano & Organ Company in 1960 in Tuscaloosa, AL. After a couple highly successful years the Baldwin Piano Company approached Paul and asked him to move to the Buckeye State and open the Columbus Baldwin Piano Showroom. Paul accepted and the rest is history. Graves quickly became the state’s largest piano company selling over 40 pianos a week. We sold all types of pianos but back then it was mostly small console pianos and home organs.

Graves Piano Stores had three locations, two in Cleveland and one in Columbus but over the years we found it advantageous to operate from one main hub in Columbus. We now ship over 1/3 of our pianos to other states. Whether you’re searching for a cheap used piano, spinet piano, performance upright piano or high-end European grand piano, Graves has several options for you. We also carry hugely popular player piano systems and digital pianos and electronic keyboards by Kawai and Roland Pianos. If you live near our Columbus Ohio piano store then you can also see your children play on our Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano in the Graves Recital Hall.
